There are exactly 11 days remaining until Barcelona officially begin their preparations for the 2025-26 season.
Manager Hansi Flick has called up the squad to start pre-season on 13 July, a day that will include medical check-ups and the first training sessions for the first team.
Despite more than a week and a half still remaining before pre-season officially starts, the first signs of activity have already been seen at Sports city.
Andreas Christensen starts training
Indeed, according to Sports WorldBarcelona defender Andreas Christensen cut short his holidays to return to training at the club facilities today.
Indeed, the Danish centre-back completed his first solo training session on Wednesday, as he aims to be fully fit and raring to go by the time the pre-season gets underway.
Christensen has been heavily linked with a departure this summer with Barça looking to cut one of their players from the centre-back department.

However, the 29-year-old ace has no intention of leaving and is clearly determined to earn a place in the squad after a difficult season at Barcelona, where he managed to appear in only six official matches.
Other players also present
As per the report, Christensen trained alongside Barcelona youngsters Marc Bernal and Ibrahim Diarra at Sports city today.
Bernal, who made his first-team debut last season, has been attending the training centre to continue his recovery from an ACL injury, alongside Diarra, who ended last season with muscular discomfort.
Dani Rodriguez, recovering from shoulder surgery, has also been visiting the training centre regularly, but was not present today.
Meanwhile, Christensen’s centre-back partner Ronald Araujo is also expected to shorten his holiday and join the Dane in the coming days.
