Carabao Cup fourth-round draw: Holders Newcastle to host Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal face fellow Premier League side Brighton, Wrexham to play Cardiff

Arsenal have been drawn against Brighton in another all-Premier League affair, and Manchester City will meet Swansea.

Grimsby Town, who beat Manchester United in the second round and are the sole representatives of League Two left in the competition, face Brentford at home.

Championship newboys Wrexham will take on Cardiff City in the first meeting between the two Welsh clubs since 2002.

Wolves host Chelsea, and Wycombe’s reward for a 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic is a home tie against Fulham, who defeated Cambridge United.

The ties will be played in the week of October 27.

Premier League champions Liverpool hold the record as 10-time winners of the competition, and they progressed after beating Southampton 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Hugo Ekikite, who was sent off after scoring for taking his shirt off.

Palace, meanwhile, had to negotiate a penalty shootout to get past Championship opposition Millwall.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City enjoyed a 2-0 win at Huddersfield on Wednesday, while Swansea came from 2-0 down to beat Ange Postecoglou’s Nottingham Forest last week.

Chelsea defeated Lincoln City 2-1 in the third round and Wolves knocked out David Moyes’ Everton.
