Chelsea welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge this afternoon with injury problems piling up for Enzo Maresca.
The Blues have won just two of their opening five Premier League matches with more than a touch of fortune involved in one of those victories over Fulham.
Things aren’t getting any easier. There are problems at the back with Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana both ruled out today.
A groin problem has limited Cole Palmer’s game time so far this season and with the issue refusing to go away, the England international is not expected to play again until after the international break.
Chelsea were 4-2 winners in this fixture last season with Palmer bagging the lot of them that afternoon. Enzo Maresca’s side will need to find goals elsewhere today.

Hello and a warm welcome to Metro’s live blog as Chelsea welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Manchester United, a game in which they lost goalkeeper Robert Sanchez to a red card.
Brighton drew 2-2 with Tottenham in their last Premier League fixture and thrashed Barnsley 6-0 in the Carabao Cup during the week.
