“Those are the kind of wins the big teams should have. The game is not perfect. Sometimes the opponent has the ball, but we are focused and know what to do. Getting a clean sheet is good.

Amorim explains why Man Utd need ‘crazy guys’ to improve fortunes

“In our recent past, when things go well at the beginning of the game, we can maintain the level. When something goes against us, we suffer a lot. We need to improve on that.
“It’s a bit frustrating to see my team playing like this at home but not playing the same away from home.”
On the importance of long-throws, Amorim added: “We need to look at what is working, sometimes you don’t have the opportunities during the game.
“We had a throw in and managed to score a goal. It’s massive in the Premier League today, we need to pay attention to that.”
Amorim: Sesko ‘lives for the goals’
Speaking on Sesko’s maiden Old Trafford strike, Amorim said: “It’s really important for him, he lives for the goals. It’s important to take out all that pressure he has. Every time we kicked the ball Ben was there to run and connect. I am really happy for him.”
Sesko, meanwhile, revealed that netting at Old Trafford was the fulfilment of a childhood dream.
The forward said: “This (scoring at Old Trafford) has been the moment I’ve dreamed about as a kid, because the atmosphere here is unbelievable. Not just after the goal, but after every tackle as well. It’s a dream come true, I’m happy we won.
“There are some differences (between the Premier League and Bundesliga), the guys are stronger, but I’m getting used to it more and more every training (session), getting better every single game.”
On the pressure of playing for United, Sesko added: “I work for that, if you have pressure it means you are doing something good. I don’t take pressure as something negative.
“It’s important for us to win, to get confidence for the next game, especially as we go into the break. When we come back we will be ready to go into the next game.”
Next up for United is a trip to old rivals Liverpool on October 19.
