Reds chase Lacroix
The Mirror, citing Liverpool.com, reports that Arne Slot is tempted by Lacroix after missing out on Guehi on transfer deadline day.
However, it may take a “substantial bid” to land the Frenchman.
“Liverpool.com now reports that certain Liverpool scouts regard Lacroix as a ‘Rolls Royce’ of a defender, who represents an appealing prospect due to his low-profile status.
“The club have reportedly switched focus to Lacroix after acknowledging there are no assurances that Guehi will arrive at Anfield following his failed transfer this summer.
“However, Lacroix is tied to Palace until 2029, suggesting a substantial bid would be required to lure him away from Selhurst Park. Guehi’s contract with Palace expires next summer and he will be available on a free transfer.”

Arsenal Watch Juve Star Yildiz
A report in Metro claims The Gunners are “not ready to give up hope” in their pursuit of the exciting forward.
Yildiz is a man in demand, having netted twice and registered four assists in eight appearances so far this season.

Barca have struck Rashford ‘bargain’ deal
Barcelona believe they have struck a “bargain” deal in landing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, reports the Mirror.
“Rashford has joined Barca on loan from United until the end of the season. And in return for funding all of the forward’s £300,000-a-week wages, United have agreed to let Barca make the deal permanent next summer for £26m.
“Barca president Joan Laporta is said to have been stunned his United counterparts were willing to agree such a low fee, before seeing how the England star even settled in Spain.
“A Barca source said: ‘At the top of his game, Marcus Rashford is one of the best players in Europe. Barca have got themselves a genuine bargain. Marcus should be worth more than £60m in the current market.’”
