And, according to The Sun, he is ready to commit his future to The Red Devils once more, believing better times for the club may be ahead.
“The Old Trafford skipper, 31, has had interest from Al Hilal and Al Ittihad over the past few months – but knocked both of them back.
“There has been a feeling he could be tempted by a lucrative switch to the Middle East once this summer’s World Cup is out of the way.
“However, sources close to the former Sporting Lisbon ace says he sees his future with the Red Devils and is fully on board with the project.
“Fernandes believes a top five finish and a return to Champions League football next season is still possible – despite their wobbly start to the campaign.”

United in contract talks with Maguire
Manchester United are in talks with Harry Maguire over a new contract, according to reports.
Maguire is out of contract next summer and is free to talk to other clubs in January, but The Reds are reportedly keen to hold on to the 32-year-old.
“It was previously said that Ruben Amorim was ‘planning for life’ without Maguire, who is currently free to negotiate with other clubs come January.
“Maguire, who has attracted interest from two Saudi Pro League clubs, cost United £80m when they signed him from Leicester City back in 2019.
“The Englishman is out of contract in June but United are now in talks with the 32-year-old over a fresh deal, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims.
“It’s thought that United had a face-to-face meeting with Maguire’s representatives in recent days and discussions are set to continue.”

Arsenal open to selling Jesus
Arsenal are “open” to selling striker Gabriel Jesus in January.
The Brazilian forward has been sidelined since suffering an ACL injury against Manchester United last January and is approaching full fitness for the start of the new year.
The Gunners have since signed Viktor Gyokeres, who has three goals in his first 10 games for the club.
“In terms of outgoings, the likes of Reiss Nelson, Jakub Kiwior and Albert Sambi Lokonga have already been shifted out over the summer on permanent or loan deals.
“Selling Jesus – who set the Emirates alight when he first arrived from Manchester City in 2022 before a succession of agonising injuries – for the right money would far supersede all those deals.”
