The Houston Rockets have agreed to a 2-year, $90 million contract extension with forward Kevin Durant, according to reports from ESPN’s Shams Charania. The deal also reportedly includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.
A 15-time All-Star and 11-time All-NBA selection, Durant joined the Rockets this summer in a historic seven-team trade in a deal that also sent Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and a package of picks and players to the Phoenix Suns.
The 37-year-old former MVP averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field and 43.0% from 3-point range for the Suns last season.
