Samuel Chukwueze is facing an uncertain future as AC Milan are willing to part ways with him this summer. According to a report, Fulham are interested and could potentially initiate negotiations.
Chukwueze joined Milan in the summer of 2023 after an impressive season with Villarreal, becoming the Rossoneri’s most expensive signing that summer at €20m plus €8m in bonuses. However, while the expectations were high, he didn’t exactly live up to them.
With 8 goals and 6 assists in 69 appearances, it’s clear that Milan haven’t got the return that they were expecting. There is still a market for the winger, however, as we have all seen glimpses of his qualities and what he can do on a good day.
Fulham remain vigilant
According to Luca Bianchin, both on his X account and in today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Chukwueze is eager to prove his qualities to Max Allegri. He will get the chance to do so during the pre-seasonbut it doesn’t mean that he will stay.

If a good offer comes along, as the journalist puts it, then Milan would be willing to sell him. Fulham ‘remain interested’ in the player, after enquiring about the situation in January, but there are no negotiations between the clubs as of yet.
In the meantime, as such, the Rossoneri will evaluate Chukwueze during the pre-season and Fulham will surely keep an eye on him as well. It sounds paradoxical given the winger’s desire to prove himself at Milan, but a positive pre-season could even fuel the sale talks.
