Galliani could ‘sensationally return’ to Milan to recover Scaroni’s ‘great failures’

In news today, Adriano Galliani could return to AC Milan in some role, in what has been described as a ‘sensational return’.

There are several areas where the management struggles, and among the worst is the political side of things. Many feel that Milan lack the power that they should have among clubs in Italy, whilst the stadium situation only furthers the issues.

Additionally, Paolo Scaroni, who is currently the Chairman of the club, has become a distant figure from the fans, and there have been chants against him in recent months. A change may be needed to clear the air.

Galliani to return?

That change could involve the hiring of Galliani, who served the club during the Berlusconi era and left once he sold the club. Since then, he has remained a fan of the club and has regularly spoken well of the Rossoneri.

Recently, with Monza relegated to Serie B and the Diavolo reshuffling, there have been rumours of a return, and MilanNews‘ Andrea Longoni spoke about this talk in an editorial piece today.

“In recent days, rumours have been circulating about Adriano Galliani’s sensational return to AC Milan. We’ll be following the developments.

“It would represent an extraordinary coup to strengthen this management team, which is still lacking in several respects. Politically, it’s one of Scaroni ‘s great failures, along with the stadium issue.

“Communication-wise, Furlani is clearly unsuited to representing AC Milan to the media. Not to mention the sense of belonging and Milanese spirit that someone like Galliani could convey like few others. In short, a resounding yes.”
