Arsenal await outgoings to make Rodrygo move possible

Arsenal have not ruled out a move for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, but any deal would depend on several key factors falling into place before the transfer window closes.

The 24-year-old Brazilian is open to leaving Madrid this summer, and both the club’s board and manager Xabi Alonso are reportedly willing to let him go if the right offer arrives.

Arsenal have already held informal talks with Rodrygo’s representatives and remain admirers of his versatility and technical ability.

He can operate on either wing or through the middle, making him a stylistic fit for Mikel Arteta’s system.

However, any progress on Arsenal’s part is likely to hinge on departures.

Rodrygo is not the only wide forward Arsenal are monitoring.

Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze is another name under consideration, and his £68 million release clause makes him a straightforward, if expensive, option.

While Eze and Rodrygo both offer creative flair and attacking threat, Arsenal are not expected to sign both.

Ultimately, Rodrygo remains an intriguing possibility rather than a current priority.

If the opportunity arises and the financials align, Arsenal could yet make a move.

But for now, any deal remains contingent on outgoings and Real Madrid’s asking price.
