Martim Fernandes of Porto is the latest full-back target for AC Milan, according to journalist Carlo Pellegatti.
Milan have the obligation to sign at least two new full-backs this summer and probably two starters as well. Theo Hernandez is heading to Al-Hilalwhile there are doubts about the right-back position too.
A number of names have been linked, from Dodo and Andrea Cambiaso to Oleksandr Zinchenko and Honest Ahanor. However, nothing seems to be imminent at present.
A new RB target
In a video on his YouTube channel, Pellegatti spoke about Milan’s mission to sign two new full-backs, bringing up a new target for the right side in Martim Fernandes of Porto.
“Milan could also be interested in De Cuyper, but at the moment they are not saying anything on the left. Theo Hernandez should close every detail for his departure to Al-Hilal,” he said.
“For the right flank, in addition to the usual Doué from Strasbourg, attention should be paid to Martim from Porto, who is performing well.”
Fernandes was named as Porto’s Young Player of the Year in 2023 and also made the list of ‘The Guardian’s: Next Generation 2023’. He was launched in the first team by Sergio Conceicao, who of course has just left Milan.
