Fulham are keen on signing two Arsenal players this summer.
The Cottagers have a good working relationship with the Gunners. They have purchased Bernd Leno and Emile Smith Rowe in the past. Reiss Nelson spent last season on loan with them.
Marco Silva’s side are already in advanced talks to re-sign Nelson. Arsenal prefer his permanent transfer, but a loan deal with an obligation to buy could be agreed too.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed that Fulham have also approached to sign Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko due to his versatile presence on the playing field.
Arsenal could be prepared to part ways with the 28-year-old for £15 million.
Fulham could secure a double transfer from Arsenal
Nelson made 13 appearances for the west London outfit last term. He managed five straight starts on the left wing before sustaining a season-ending hamstring injury in December.
The attacker made only three goal contributions during his time at Fulham, but the hierarchy seem convinced that he can provide a better output under Silva next season.
Arsenal may seek to negotiate a permanent deal as they need to recoup funds after the huge spending spree. The club have already spent close to £200m on new purchases.
Zinchenko is also expected to be shown the exit door with his contract expiring next summer. He could be tempted to move to Fulham, which would prolong his stay in London.
The Ukrainian is the third-choice left-back at Arsenal behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori.
He is unlikely to displace Antonee Robinson for the same role at Fulham, but Silva could utilise him from the number eight position due to his strong distribution and creativity.
If Arsenal can secure £30m from the duo’s sale to Fulham, it would represent reasonably good business.
